Our school’s English Language curriculum

  • Assists students in applying reading skills and develop good reading habits through the use of language arts materials, wide variety of text types to arouse students’ interests.
  • Exposes native learning experiences and cultural awareness with reading lessons and recess activities conducted by our Native English Teachers (NET).
  • Caters for learners’ diversity through a wide-range of learning tasks and activities to suit the learning needs of our students.
  • Incorporate knowledge beyond the textbook, such as phonics and drama for students to develop lifelong language skills.

Promotes assessment as learning through the use of formative and criterion-referenced assessment for effective feedback and progression.
